Amarnath Cave: A Wonderful Sight of Shivalinga

   Amarnath Dham should be called the best pilgrimage of Hindus. Yes, for the visit of Amarnath Dham, there is a lot of pilgrimage in the country. 
   Therefore, it will not be wrong to say Amarnath's best pilgrimage to the Hindus. The journey of Amarnath Dham is not only in India but also abroad. 
   Amarnath Dham is also called the Amarnath cave and the Amarnath cave shrine. Particularly in this sacred cave, natural shivaling is created from the snow. It is also called self-made Himani Shivaling. 
   The perimeter of the Amarnath cave is about 150 feet. About 10 feet tall shivaling is produced from snow drops. If the experts believe that due to the decrease of the moon, the size of Shivling also decreases. 
  Here are the separate icebergs of Ganesh, Parvati and Bhairav. This sacred cave of Amarnath is in the north-east direction of Srinagar city of Jammu and Kashmir province of India.
   Located at an elevation of 3888 meters above sea level, this Amarnath cave is a very snowy area. Due to being at the top of the height, the Amarnath cave is covered with snow during peak times. 
  During the summer period, especially during the months of June to August, devotees get to see Amarnath in the cave. 
    Amarnath cave or Amarnath Dham opens for pilgrims during this period. In the Amarnath cave there are visions of Shivling. This Shivaling takes shape from snow. 
  That is why the devotee is also called Baba Blissi. It is believed that Amarnath cave is nearly 5000 years old. The legend is that a holy man gave a local bag full of coal to the cowboy.
  The shepherd went home and saw that the coal had turned into gold itself. The shepherd looked for the holy person and had seen the holy Amarnath cave. 
  The Amarnath cave is about 19 meters long, the width is about 16 meters. The height is about 11 meters. Particularly that Amarnath cave is one of the main religious places of Lord Shiva. 
   Experts believe that in ancient times Amarnath cave was called Amareshwar Mahadev. Particularly that the Amarnath cave could not remain without affecting the foreigners too. 
   British author Lawrence writes in his book Valley of Kashmir that Kashmiri Brahmin pilgrims used to travel to the Amarnath cave once, experts believe that there were many famous monasteries of Hindus and Buddhists at this hill station. Musa had spent some days of his life in Pahalgaon. 
  Pahalgam means that village of Ghadriya is mythological belief that once The valley was submerged, the valley had taken on the form of a large lake, to save the animals, the sage Kashyap had shed this water from many rivers and other sources, during this time, for the visit of the Saint Himalaya to the Saint Bhimu. Rishi Bhrigu had visited the Amarnath cave during the Himalaya philosophy, where the sage had been appearing for the blistering Shivalinga, and the experts believed that this place was the place of worship of Lord Shiva. 
   Amarnath cave comes from Srinagar, where the Amarnath cave is about 141 kilometers, according to experts, there is no ancient history of Amarnath cave. .
  The cave probably underlines the ice age. Experts believe that only in the Amarnath cave there is only ice caving. Shivaling of ice is not anywhere in the world except Kashmir.
  Experts believe that before leaving the sadhus or saintly family and going on pilgrimage, they used to visit Amarnath cave. 
  The reason this journey is very inaccessible. In the changing circumstances, a large number of pilgrims now go for Darshan. 
   However, the journey of the Amarnath cave is extremely difficult. Yet, it is not that devotees can not go for the philosophy. 
  Resources available for the visit of Amarnath cave to Srinagar Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, can reach a tourist or pilgrim airplane or train. 
   The nearest airport is Srinagar. Travel from Srinagar to Pahalgam can be done through bus or road. The nearest railway station of Pahalgam is Udhampur junction. Tourists can reach here from the Jammu railway station. The distance of Amarnath cave from Pahalgam is about 48 kilometers. 
    The distance from the cave to the cave is about 14 kilometers. Traveling from Pahalgam takes rest on many stops.The first stop from Pahalgam is at 16 kilometers away from Chandanwadi. The second stop is about 3 kilometers away from the flea top. 
  The third stop is Sheshnag, about 9 km away. The last stop is about five kilometers away from Pancharatani. The distance of the holy Amarnath cave from Pancharatani is about 6 kilometers.
