Hemkund Sahib: Sikh Pilgrimage

   Hemkund should be called the best Pilgrimage of Sikh community. Yes, the journey of Hemkund situated in the Himalaya lap is not less than any tenacity. 

   Hemkund located in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, is indeed a religious place between natural beauty. Hemkund, located at a height of 4632 meters above sea level, has its own unique success story. Hemkund is literally Sanskrit semantically 
  The meaning of heme is that the ice and the trunk mean the bowl. Hemkund, surrounded by the snowy lake, is surrounded by seven mountain ranges.

   Local residents consider Hemkund Sahib as unusual, sacred, a place of amazement and reverence. Lake and the surrounding area of ​​Hemkund are called the Ombudsman. Lokpal means the patron. There is also a lake beside the lake. This temple was built by Laxman. Sikh Guru Gobind Singh Ji had worshiped this temple. 

  Now this place started to be considered as a gurudwara. In this scenic pilgrimage, the high mountain peaks of the snow are seen around. The water of the vast lake is very cold. Even then devotees shower meditation in the gurudwara.

  Experts believe that this snowy lake comes water from elephant mountain and Satya Rishi mountain ranges. A small stream is flowing through this beautiful lake. This is called snowganga. Laxman temple along the lake is also located. 

   Due to its high altitude, the eyes of Hemkund sahib are rare in winter. Experts believe that snow in winter is frozen. That makes traveling difficult. After the winter, the palms of Hemkund open for sighting in May. Travel to Hemkund is done by courage and patience.

   Due to many times difficulties also occur. However, the difficulties are left behind after the exciting realization. Hemkund's main journey begins with Govindghat. From Govindghat to Ghancharia, it is about 13 km deep sailing. 

  After this, about 6 kilometers of mountain climbing has to be done. Tourists or devotees can enjoy great trekking here. Hemkund's journey is very exciting and hilarious. 

  The reason is that there are mountain ranges and bases. The area covered with natural beauty is very popular. Thereby, tourists do not feel tired. In this beautiful journey of beauty, a series of beautiful springs are also seen. There is also a flowering valley near it.

Gaumukh: The Origin of Bhagirathi Ganga

   Gaumukh literally Bhagirathi is the source of the Ganges. It is believed that bathing with Gaumukh's icy water, all sins are automatically washed away.  

   Gaumukh located in Uttarkashi of Uttarakhand is of particular importance. Bhagirathi Ganga has landed on this land in Uttarkashi. Religious and spiritual recognition of being the landing place of Gaumukh Bhagirathi Ganga situated at an elevation of 3892 meters above sea level. Gaumukh's water is snowy rather than cold.  

   The journey of Gaupukh, which is located at a distance of about 19 kilometers from the Gangotri temple, is not less exciting. Travel from Gangotri to Gaumukh can be done on foot or through stools.    
   Experts believe that the area of ​​Gaumukh is very extensive. Gaumukh area is about 25 kilometers long, about 4 kilometers wide and about 40 meters high. Gaumukh is actually a picturesque magnificent glacier. 
   Bhagirathi Ganga is descended on the earth from a small cave of Gauhmukh Glacier. The holy water of this big river is flowing from the height of 5000 meters to the valley.  

    Believers believe that the original West Slopes of Bhagirathi Ganges are from the peaks of the Santhap group. Gangotri Dham Temple is located about 19 kilometers away from Gaumukh. Gangotri Dham Temple is situated at an altitude of about 3042 meters above sea level. 
   According to the mythological plot, the Chakravarti king Bhagirath of Raghuqul had a great penance for sitting here on a holy inscription and for the happiness of Lord Shankar. Gangotri Dham Mandir has been constructed in the 19th century near this sacred rock climb.

   It is believed that Goddess Bhagirathi touched the earth at this place. Experts believe that a natural rock as Shivalinga is submerged in Bhagirathi river. Here is the direct experience of divine power.    
   According to legend, that Lord Shankar, in this place, had spread his shoes and took control of the velocity of the Ganga. When the water level of the Ganga is very low, there are visions of holy Shivaling. Gaumukh and Gangotri Dham have been the site of Hindu faith and spiritual inspiration for centuries. 

   The area of ​​Gangotri Dham from Gaumukh has evolved along with religion and spirituality as a beautiful and glorious tourist destination. Surrounded by the banquet tree series, this area seems very beautiful. Between the pine forest and the peak of the pine forest, this beautiful valley creates excitement of snowiness and birdhood.

Here the langur, the red monkey, the brown bear, the common fox, the cheetah, the icy cheetah, the Bhakta deer, sambhar, musk deer and sahi etc. are found in large number.    Mukhba village: The main attraction of the village of Mukba is Mukheemath Temple. The priests of Mukhba village run the worship system of Gangotri Dham Mandir. After the closure of Gangotri Dham Temple, Ganga Devi is brought in this village with pomp. Ganga is worshiped here till spring.

   Bhairron Valley: The Bhairon Valley is about 9 km away from Gangotri Dham. The Bhairon Valley is in fact the confluence of Jadh, Jahanwai, Ganga and Bhagirathi. The Ganga flows into deep valleys with a strong downstream. 
   The panoramic view of the Himalayas is fascinated by the Bhairon Valley. The Bhairro valley has a spectacular view of the Bhrigu mountain ranges, the Sudarshan, the maternal and the Chidwasas peaks.
   Nandan Tapovan: Nandan Tapovan is situated about 25 km from Gangotri Dham. Tapovan is the grand-divine view of the Shivalik peaks. There is a Tapovan on the mouth of Gangotri river. This area is famous for the beautiful grassland.
  Gangotri Chirbasa: Gangotri Chirbasa is a picturesque landmark. A huge Gaumukh Glacier can be observed from Chirbasa. Chirbasa literally means chir tree.   Gangotri Bhojbasa: Gangotri Bhojbasa is indeed a rich region of bhaj tree. Bhojbasa is around 14 kilometers from Gangotri. Here, there is a free meals arrangement in the ashram, run by Lal Baba. The saying is that there are Brahma lotus visas here. Brahma Lotus is the seat of Brahma ji.
   Kedralath: Kedralath is located about 14 kilometers from Gangotri Dham. The best place for mountaineering. This area, which is about 15,000 feet high above sea level, is known to be especially known for the tranquil atmosphere.
  This lake formed from the melting ice of Kedar Glacier is the source of Kedar Ganga, the tributary of Bhagirathi.
