Nageshwar Mahadev: Shiva's Gift

The glory of Nageshwar Mahadev in Shiva's Dwashash Jyotirlinga is unique. The saying is that the observance of Jyotirlinga Nageshwar Mahadev reveals only the devoted sin. Jyotirlinga Nageshwar Mahadev Temple, situated about 13 miles from Gujarat's Dwarka, is famous in numerous countries of the world.

This Jyotirlinga is located in the outskirts of Gujarat's Dwarka, also in the scriptures and mythologies. Nageshwar means the God of serpents.
Experts believe that it is also a sign of defense from poison. In the Rudra Code, Lord Shiva has been called as Nageshane. The glory of this holy Jyotirlinga philosophy is shown in the scriptures.
The saying is that the devotee becomes free from sinful devotion to see the origin and greatness of this Jyothirlinga. Nageshwar Mahadev gets the place of Shiva's ultimate holy Divine Dham.
There is a saying that there was a God named Sudari and a virtuous Vaishya. This Shiva devotee used to trouble Vaish to a monster. The demon did not like Shiva worship. Vaishya worshiped Shiva and the monster put obstacles in it.
The monster harassed Shiva devotee Vaish in various ways. When the demon ran to kill Vaishh in anger, Shiva appeared on the same moment. Shiva provided animal weapon to devotee Vaishya. By which Vaish has killed the monster. Vaishya slaughtered the monster and went to Shivdham.
This place was named Jyotirlinga Nageshwar by Lord Shiva's boon. It is believed that after worshiping Jyotirlinga Mahadev in the month of Shravan, devotees receive complete physical pleasures and spiritual pleasures. Particularly, two other places of Jyotirlinga of Nageshwar Mahadev are reported.
These two places are known in the name of Jageshwar Mahadev in Uttarakhand and Nageshwar Mahadev in Andhra Pradesh. Experts believe that Jyothirlinga Nageshwar located in Dwarkapuri in Gujarat is valid in Mahadev Shastra and Puranas. Jyotirlinga Nageshwar Mahadev Temple situated about 15 kms from Dwarka is a Sadhpit of Hindus.
A huge idol is installed in the temple complex of Lord Shiva in the Padmasan pose. This Shiva Darshan is the main attraction here. Jyotirlinga Nageshwar has his own separate law of worship of Lord Mahadev. Before entering the sanctum sanctorum, devotees wear clothes and wear dhoti in the adjoining chamber. Only after this devotees can enter the sanctum sanctorum.
There is a special feature here. Shivalinga's Jalabhishek is only from Gangajal. Particularly, the Ganga Jal is provided free of cost to the devotees who perform Jalabhishek on behalf of the Temple Committee.
According to experts, Nageshwar Mahadev's position is 10th in the order of Jyotirling. The sanctum sanctorum is at some low point. Shivaling is medium-sized. Shivaling, which is made of silver cloth, seems very attractive.
The shape of a snake made of silver on Jyotirlinga-Shivalinga is also visible. The statue of Mata Parvati is set up behind Jyothirlinga. Jyotirling's philosophy begins at 5 a.m. Shringar is visible at 4 o'clock in the evening. The sleeping aarti is at 7 o'clock in the evening. The temple is closed at 9 pm.
