Baidyanath Temple: Place of Godship
The specialty of the Jyothirlinga Baidyanath temple is that never let go of disappointment. All the wishes of the devotee are fulfilled. Perhaps this is why Jyotirlinga Baidyanath Temple is also known as Kamna Shivalinga.
This Jyothirlinga is believed to be a Puranic based in Devgarh in Chhattisgarh. Due to being a holy pilgrim, the devotees also call it Baidyanath Dham.

Shiva restored all the heads of Ravana. Subsequently, Shiva asked Ravana to ask for boon. Ravana sought to raise Shivling from here and set up in Lanka but Shiva did not agree with it. In
the end, Shiva is ready to offer boon but kept a condition that
Shivalinga should be established directly by taking it in Lanka.
Ravana
left for Shivalinga, but on the way, when Ravana felt a small emperor
on the way, Ravan instructed the person not to keep Shivling on the
ground. On returning from retirement, Ravan saw Shivaling land on the ground. Despite efforts, Ravana could not shake Shivling.
So Ravana went frustrated and went to Lanka. After that, other gods and goddesses, including Brahma and Vishnu, worshiped Shivling. A person named Baidyanath started regularly worshiping Shivling. For this reason, this Jyothirlinga got recognition of Baidyanath. Januruta and folk beliefs that the philosophy of Jyotirlinga Baidyanath achieves desired results.
There is a pond near the temple. Its water is considered sacred. The holy journey of Jyotirlinga Baidyanath starts in the month of Shravan. Pilgrims before the journey are gathered in Sultanganj. Pilgrims depart from Sultanganj for taking water in the vessel and for the bathing of Baidyanatha Dham. Pilgrims perform Jalabhishek of Baidyanatha Dham and Vasuki Nath.
Statues
of gods and goddesses like Shiva-Parvati, Lakshmi-Narayana etc. are
installed in the Jyotirlinga Baidyanath Dham temple complex. The saying is that all these temples have Panchasula. Ravana was protecting Lanka from the Panchasula only. Vasuki
Nath Temple: The visit of Jyotirlinga Baidyanath is considered
half-complete without the sight of Shivalinga in Vasuki Nath Temple. Vasuki Nath Temple is virtually 42 kms away from Baidyanath Dham. Baiju Temple: Baiju Temple is in the Deoghar towards west from Baidyanath Dham. These are three temples. These are called Baiju temples. Shivaling is established in all these temples.
