Gangotri Dham: Darshan of Bhagwati Ganga

    If Gangotri Dham can be called the main place of faith, faith and belief, then there may be no obscurity. Yes, Gangotri Dham is the standard of belief of Hindus. 

   Gangotri Dham situated at an altitude of about 3140 meters above sea level is one of the four dham chains of Hindus. Gangotri Dham situated in Gangotri in Uttarakhand is also known as Gangotri Temple and Ganga Mandir. Indeed, Gangotri is recognized as the source of the river Ganges.

    It is believed that Pandavas also performed a yagya ritual for the spiritual peace of their ancestors. Gangotri Dham or Gangotri Temple is a magnificent and attractive temple made of white marble. Anyone can be enchanted by seeing the divinity of the temple and grandeur and purity.  

   Experts believe that a natural white rock in Shivalinga is submerged in Gangotri. At the beginning of winter, when the water level of Ganga falls down, this Shiva rock is seen. The history of the Gangotri temple is very ancient. 
    For Hindus it is a source of spiritual inspiration. In ancient times, the journey of four Dham used to be walking. In the year 1980, the road was constructed for the visit of Gangotri. Experts believe that there was no temple in Gangotri in ancient times.  

   It is also called Bhagirathi Valley. The Gangotri area is a beautiful place surrounded by banquets. Gangotri temple is situated at the end of Bhagirathi valley. The abundance of vegetation is created only after seeing it. The vast species of flora are cautious for quality and health. 
   In the winter the folds of the Gangotri temple are closed. Ganga ji is brought from Dharmadhu temple to Mahabha village with pomp. Ganga ji is brought back to the temple after coming to Basant from village Mukba.
   There is a long series of religious and tourist sites around Gangotri temple and its surroundings. These are especially in Bhairon Valley, Harshil, Parvatnavan Tapovan, Gangotri Chirbasa, Gangotri Bhojbasa, Kedraltal etc.

   Gomukh: Gaumukh is actually the estuarine area of ​​the glacier. The distance of Gaumukh from Gangotri is about 19 kilometers. The height of the glacier is about 3892 meters above sea level. Believers of Dharmacharya, bathing with icy water in gomukh, all sins are washed away. 
   Gaumukh is the place of origin of Bhagirathi ie Ganga. The area of ​​the gomukh is considered very birding. It is considered to be an area of ​​about 25 kilometers long, about four kilometers wide and about 40 meters high. Googly actually takes shape from a cave of the glacier.
   Bhairon Valley: Bhairon Valley is about 9 km away from Gangotri. Bhairon valley is the confluence of Jadh, Jahnavi, Ganges and Bhagirathi. Due to rapid drift, Bhagirathi flows into deep valleys. Drift looks like roaring.  
  Bhairon valley is the beautiful tourist spot of the Himalayas. From here the stunning views of the Himalayas are seen. Tourists or pilgrims from Bhairon valley can also see Bhrugu mountain ranges and Chidwas mountain ranges.   
   Harshil: Harshil is a beautiful and scenic spot about 20 kilometers from Gangotri. This area is famous for scenic and natural beauty. The sweet apple country here has a different identity in the world. High mountains in Harshil, Ganga Ganga, apple gardens, a series of springs and beautiful grasslands are very popular.      
    Nandan Tapovan: Nandan Tapovan is about 25 km away from Gangotri. There is a wonderful sight of Shivling peak from Tapovan. Here the beautiful pastures are made by seeing them.  Gangotri Chirbasa: Located about 3600 feet high, from Gangotri Chirbasa Gomukh. This place offers a stunning view of the goggle glacier.   
   Ganga Festival: Ganga Festival is actually a festival of Ganga ji and festivals. At the beginning of winter, Bhagwati Ganga goes to his native place, village Mukhba. After the winters are over, Bhagwati Ganga is again back in Gangotri Dham. Bhagwati Ganga travels with traditional customs, lyrics, dance and worship with joy and glee. Devotee Bhagwati takes the idol of Ganga and brings it to the palanquin. The sedan is decorated.
