Vrindavan: Mahatirtha and Religious Tourism

    Vrindavan should be called Mahathirtha and religious tourism of Hindus. Vrindavan is actually a highly developed village in Mathura. 

   However, this beautiful village of Mathura has now taken the shape of a huge pilgrimage. Vrindavan is the great power associated with the pastimes of Lord Shri Krishna. These ghats mainly consist of Srivaraghat, Kalyadaman Ghat, Surya Ghat, Yugal Ghat, Sri Bihar Ghat, Sri Andher Ghat, Imlitla Ghat, Shringar Ghat, Shri Govind Ghat, Chir Ghat, Shri Bhramar Ghat, Shri Keshi Ghat, Dhir Sameer Ghat, Shri Radha Bagh Ghat, Shri Pani Ghat, etc. are Badri Ghat and Raj Ghat etc.

   Kusum Sarovar: Kusum Sarovar is a special attraction of Vrindavan.
   Shri Varah Ghat: Shri Varah Ghat is this very ancient ghat of Yamuna situated in the south-west direction of Vrindavan. Sri Varaha Dev sits on the coast. Rishi Gautama's ashram is present near by.
  Kalyia Daman Ghat: Kaliya Daman Ghat is also the ancient ghat of Yamuna. Before Lord Krishna's return by suppressing the earth, the Brijwasis and the gopis tearfully flooded the land at this ghat. It is believed that the Brahmins donated cows for the Lord's wish for Lord Krishna.
   Surya Ghat: The ancient name of Surya Ghat is Aditya Ghat. There is a huge mound above the ghat. It is called Aditya Tila. Madan Mohan Temple of Sri Sanatana Goswami is present on this mound. There is also a Prasandan Tirtha here.
   Yugal Ghat: Surya Ghat is situated near the Yugal Ghat. At the top of the Yugal Ghat is the ancient temple of Yugal Bihari. Near the Keshi Ghat, there is another temple of Jugal Kishore.
   Bihar Ghat: Bihar Ghat is an ancient ghat. It is believed that Lord Krishna used to play water sports at this ghat.
   Shree Shringar Ghat: Lord Shree Krishna used to adorn Radhika on Shree Shringar Ghat.
   Chir Ghat: Chir Ghat was actually the playing ground of Lord Shri Krishna. Lord Krishna used to hang on the tree of Kadamb after removing the clothes of the gopikas bathing in Yamuna. Perhaps this is why it is known as Cheer Ghat.
   Raj Ghat: Raj Ghat is situated to the south of Adi Badri Ghat. It is believed that Lord Krishna used to make sailors and Radhika cross the Yamuna as a sailor.
   All the necessary resources are available for the journey to Brindavan. The nearest airport is Agra International Airport. The distance from Agra Airport to Vrindavan is about 53 kilometers. The nearest railway station is Mathura Junction. Tourists or tourists can also travel to Vrindavan by road.
