Devidhura Temple: Celebration of Fruits and Flowers

   Devidhura temple should be called the pilgrimage of Hindus. In fact, this temple is dedicated to Mother goddess Barahi. 

  This religious place in Champawat district of Uttarakhand has mythological and historical beliefs. Devidhura temple located in Devidhura town of Champawat district is one of the 52 Shaktipeeth of Varahi. Located at an altitude of 1850 meters above sea level, this temple is a magnificent picturesque area with a symbol of religion, faith and belief.

So, the statue of Mother Vaarahi is established in Tamar Petika. It is believed that the sharpness of the mother Barahi devi is excessive. 
  Through which direct sight is the danger of the light of the eyes of pilgrims. Experts believe that this siddhith was established during the reign of the kings. A statue of Mahakali with Champa goddess and red tongue was established in this Sidhpith. 
  It is believed that Pandavas had migrated in this area during the Mahabharata era. In the game of play on the hill, Bhima had thrown two stone slopes. One of these stones is called Ram Shila. 
  There is a mark of a patchy at this place. It is considered to be a symbol of gemstones. The hand marks on the rock are also present. 
  Experts believe that there was a practice of sacrifice in this temple in ancient times. This practice later took the form of a celebration in the form of a stone strike. 
  This festival is called Bagwal. On this festival, devotees worship the goddess for the worship of Goddess. The valiant warrior mother blesses Barahi. The priests of the temple bless the devotees by making conch shells. To avoid stone injury, devotees set up wooden slabs.
  However, in the changing situation, now the stone rocks started to curb the festival. However now there is a celebration of flowers and fruits. In it the devotees shower fruits and flowers. Bagwal festival is famous in this area. It is believed that Goddess Philosophy fills the wishes of devotees.
  Due to being in the mountainous area, the Devidhura temple and surrounding environment are always pleasant. This shrine of Hindus, which is located about 60 km from Lohaghat town, is known to be specially known.
