Yamunotri Dham: Center of Faith

  Yamunotri Dham is the best center of faith and faith in the lap of the throne. Yamunotri Dham Hindus, located in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand can be said to be the universal pilgrimage, there may be no obscurity.

   Yamunotri Dham is mainly devoted to Yamuna Devi. Sun daughter is called Suryatanaya. The literal meaning of Suryatanaya is Yamuna. The glory of the Yamuna is also in the Purana. History of Yamunotri Dham is also very ancient. 
   The temple was constructed by Maharaja Pratap Shah of Tehri Garhwal in the year 1919. Although Yamunotri Dham was rebuilt by Empress Gularia of Jaipur in the 19th century. 

   Experts believe that the real origin of Yamunotri is glacier ie Champasar glacier. This place is situated on the Kaliyad mountain at 4421 meters above sea level. 
   Yamunotri Dham Temple is built by seeing the grandeur of the temple. Pram Pratna is the statue of Yamuna Devi's black marble in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.  

   The worship-arching of the statue is constant from law. If the experts believe that the sun daughter in the Purana is called the Yamuna. Yamuna, Yama, Shani Dev, Vaivasvat Manu were revealed from the wives of the Sun and their wives.  
  Thus, the Yamuna is especially the sister of Yamraj and Shani Dev. Perhaps this is why Bhai Dooj has the special significance of Yamuna Darshan and Yamuna Bath.

   The Yamuna first appeared on the Kalind mountain in the form of water. There is a huge inscription on the temple premises. This rock cluster is known to be known as Divya Shila. 
   Particularly in the period from May to October, there is a lot of pilgrimage for pilgrims visiting Yamunotri Dham. Experts believe that Asit Muni's foil was also at this place.  

   The journey of Yamunotri Dham is very exciting and enchanted. Snowy mountain peaks mesmerized travelers-tourists. Near the Yamunotri Dham, there are the Sun Kund and the Gauri Kund. The sun cistern is a hot stream of water, whereas the Gauri Kund is a cooling place of cold water.  

   Particularly because of the extreme coldness, Yum Dwitiya of the Kartik month is closed for the shutdown of Yamunotri Dham. It means that after the Diwali, the folds of Yamunotri Dham are closed due to coldness. 

   After this, the cupboards of Yamunotri Dham open on the sacred festival of Akshaya Tritiya of Shukla Paksha of Baishakh month. The opening of the waist opens for the devotees to see a glimpse of the devotees. 

   In the period of the closure of Yamunotri Dham and the opening of the waist, Goddess Yamuna's grand-divine shobayatra rises. The sun water is particularly famous for its highest temperature. 
   The devotees cook rice and potatoes in this cloth, in this water. Along with the Sun Kunda, the divine rock house is situated. It is also called Jyoti Shila.

 The nearest railway station is Dehradun. The distance of Yamunotri Dham from Dehradun railway station is about 185 kilometers. Visitors can also travel to Yamunotri Dham by road.
