Rameshwaram: Center of reverence and trust

    Lord Shiva's Jyotirlinga Rameshwaram pilgrimage has its own distinct and special significance. The chief pilgrimage of Hindus, Jyotirlinga Rameshwaram is also known as Sri Ramalingeshwaram.

The saying is that all these Shivlingas are established by Ravana. Jyotirlinga Rameshwaram's architecture and construction art is very beautiful. 
     The entrance to the temple is about 40 feet high. There are innumerable pillars in the temple inside the temple. The specialty is that all pillars appear to be of one type. If you study closely, then carving and belboota of every pillar look different and beautiful.  
     This is the unique dimension of workmanship. Here is the idol of Ramnath. Its circular path is 400 feet long. Millions of tons of stones have been used in the construction of the Jyotirlinga Rameshwaram temple. Especially black stones have been used. The saying is that the stones used in the construction of the temple were brought from Lanka.
     Jyotirlinga is the story of the construction of the Rameshwaram temple that Lord Shri Ram had worshiped before the climbing to Lanka, by establishing Shivling on the beach. After killing Ravana, Lord Rama was angry that the sin of killing Brahma would take place. 
     Due to Ravana, there was no normal monster. He was the son of Pulstya Rishi. The four had knowledge of the Vedas. Shiva's exclusive devotee was. Therefore, to overcome the sin of killing Brahma, Shri Ram decided to establish Shivalinga in Rameshwaram.  
   After determining, Shri Ram ordered the devotee Hanuman to bring a Shivling from Kashi. Hanuman was the windshield. Hanuman ji went but Hanumanji did not return to the due date. Janki ji noticed that the time of installation of Shivling was passing but Hanuman did not return. Janki ji made shivaling by sewing the sand from the sea shore. Seeing this, Shriram was very pleased.
   At the appointed time, Shriram established Shivalinga. This small sized Shivalinga is called Ramnath. Later on the arrival of Hanuman, near the small Shivling, the big stone of black stone was established. Jyotirlinga is recognized for the main Shivling. Both worshipers worship darshan of Shivalinga.  
   There are many other shrines and beautiful places near the Jyothirlinga Rameshwaram temple. These are specially the Gandhamdan Mountains, Sethu Madhav, Vilillari Tirtha, Ekant Ram, Kodand Swamy Temple, Sita Kund, etc. Setu and Rameshwaram town etc.  Gandhamdan Mountain: Mount Gandhamdan is located just a short distance from Jyotirlinga Rameshwaram. This is a small mountain. The saying is that Hanuman ji jumped off this mountain to cross the sea. Later Shri Ram organized a huge army at this place for the Lanka victory. There is a beautiful temple on this mountain. It is called Paduka Temple.      Setu Madhav: Sethu Madhav Shiva Temple. There are many temples in it. Mainly it is the Vishnu temple.Bai Kund: This is a pilgrimage of the Ram Kund Ramnath temple complex. The number of its waterfall was 24. Two kundas were dried. So now it is called 22 Kund. The water of the coatirtha is inaudible. Diseases of the body are destroyed. The devotees feel energized after bathing.Aadi Setu: Aadi setu is seven miles south of Rameshwaram in the south. It is also called Darbhashyanam. At this place, Shriram worked to build a bridge in the sea. For this reason, this place is known as Aadi Setu.

Nageshwar Mahadev: Shiva's Gift

    The glory of Nageshwar Mahadev in Shiva's Dwashash Jyotirlinga is unique. The saying is that the observance of Jyotirlinga Nageshwar Mahadev reveals only the devoted sin. Jyotirlinga Nageshwar Mahadev Temple, situated about 13 miles from Gujarat's Dwarka, is famous in numerous countries of the world.

   This Jyotirlinga is located in the outskirts of Gujarat's Dwarka, also in the scriptures and mythologies. Nageshwar means the God of serpents.  
   Experts believe that it is also a sign of defense from poison. In the Rudra Code, Lord Shiva has been called as Nageshane. The glory of this holy Jyotirlinga philosophy is shown in the scriptures. 
    The saying is that the devotee becomes free from sinful devotion to see the origin and greatness of this Jyothirlinga. Nageshwar Mahadev gets the place of Shiva's ultimate holy Divine Dham.  
  There is a saying that there was a God named Sudari and a virtuous Vaishya. This Shiva devotee used to trouble Vaish to a monster. The demon did not like Shiva worship. Vaishya worshiped Shiva and the monster put obstacles in it.  
   The monster harassed Shiva devotee Vaish in various ways. When the demon ran to kill Vaishh in anger, Shiva appeared on the same moment. Shiva provided animal weapon to devotee Vaishya. By which Vaish has killed the monster. Vaishya slaughtered the monster and went to Shivdham. 
    This place was named Jyotirlinga Nageshwar by Lord Shiva's boon. It is believed that after worshiping Jyotirlinga Mahadev in the month of Shravan, devotees receive complete physical pleasures and spiritual pleasures. Particularly, two other places of Jyotirlinga of Nageshwar Mahadev are reported.  
    These two places are known in the name of Jageshwar Mahadev in Uttarakhand and Nageshwar Mahadev in Andhra Pradesh. Experts believe that Jyothirlinga Nageshwar located in Dwarkapuri in Gujarat is valid in Mahadev Shastra and Puranas. Jyotirlinga Nageshwar Mahadev Temple situated about 15 kms from Dwarka is a Sadhpit of Hindus. 
    A huge idol is installed in the temple complex of Lord Shiva in the Padmasan pose. This Shiva Darshan is the main attraction here. Jyotirlinga Nageshwar has his own separate law of worship of Lord Mahadev. Before entering the sanctum sanctorum, devotees wear clothes and wear dhoti in the adjoining chamber. Only after this devotees can enter the sanctum sanctorum. 
    There is a special feature here. Shivalinga's Jalabhishek is only from Gangajal. Particularly, the Ganga Jal is provided free of cost to the devotees who perform Jalabhishek on behalf of the Temple Committee.  
     According to experts, Nageshwar Mahadev's position is 10th in the order of Jyotirling. The sanctum sanctorum is at some low point. Shivaling is medium-sized. Shivaling, which is made of silver cloth, seems very attractive.  
   The shape of a snake made of silver on Jyotirlinga-Shivalinga is also visible. The statue of Mata Parvati is set up behind Jyothirlinga. Jyotirling's philosophy begins at 5 a.m. Shringar is visible at 4 o'clock in the evening. The sleeping aarti is at 7 o'clock in the evening. The temple is closed at 9 pm.

Baidyanath Temple: Place of Godship

   The specialty of the Jyothirlinga Baidyanath temple is that never let go of disappointment. All the wishes of the devotee are fulfilled. Perhaps this is why Jyotirlinga Baidyanath Temple is also known as Kamna Shivalinga.  

   This Jyothirlinga is believed to be a Puranic based in Devgarh in Chhattisgarh. Due to being a holy pilgrim, the devotees also call it Baidyanath Dham.  
  It is located in Jyotirling Devgarh. Devghar is from the Gods house. This place is the recognition of Deoghar. The Jyotirlinga Baidyanath temple is recognized as a Sidhpith.  
   The establishment of this Shivling is a very ancient history. The saying is that Ravana had done austerity on the Himalayas to please Shiva. In order to please Shiva, Ravana started cutting his head and started offering it. Ravana has given nine heads to Shiva and offered it to Shiva. Shiva appeared before cutting his last head. 
     Shiva restored all the heads of Ravana. Subsequently, Shiva asked Ravana to ask for boon. Ravana sought to raise Shivling from here and set up in Lanka but Shiva did not agree with it. In the end, Shiva is ready to offer boon but kept a condition that Shivalinga should be established directly by taking it in Lanka.
      Ravana left for Shivalinga, but on the way, when Ravana felt a small emperor on the way, Ravan instructed the person not to keep Shivling on the ground. On returning from retirement, Ravan saw Shivaling land on the ground. Despite efforts, Ravana could not shake Shivling.
     So Ravana went frustrated and went to Lanka. After that, other gods and goddesses, including Brahma and Vishnu, worshiped Shivling. A person named Baidyanath started regularly worshiping Shivling. For this reason, this Jyothirlinga got recognition of Baidyanath. Januruta and folk beliefs that the philosophy of Jyotirlinga Baidyanath achieves desired results.
    There is a pond near the temple. Its water is considered sacred. The holy journey of Jyotirlinga Baidyanath starts in the month of Shravan. Pilgrims before the journey are gathered in Sultanganj. Pilgrims depart from Sultanganj for taking water in the vessel and for the bathing of Baidyanatha Dham. Pilgrims perform Jalabhishek of Baidyanatha Dham and Vasuki Nath.  
   Statues of gods and goddesses like Shiva-Parvati, Lakshmi-Narayana etc. are installed in the Jyotirlinga Baidyanath Dham temple complex. The saying is that all these temples have Panchasula. Ravana was protecting Lanka from the Panchasula only.     Vasuki Nath Temple: The visit of Jyotirlinga Baidyanath is considered half-complete without the sight of Shivalinga in Vasuki Nath Temple. Vasuki Nath Temple is virtually 42 kms away from Baidyanath Dham.    Baiju Temple: Baiju Temple is in the Deoghar towards west from Baidyanath Dham. These are three temples. These are called Baiju temples. Shivaling is established in all these temples.
